IFLR1000 2021: Global Expansion and Highest Rankings for Japan

Nishimura & Asahi received the highest possible ranking (“Tier 1”) in all seven practice areas covered by the IFLR1000 Japan 2021. The Japan guide also recognized many of our lawyers as leading practitioners.

The annual rankings for the IFLR1000, a comprehensive guide to the leading financial and corporate law firms and lawyers across the globe, were launched on September 30. Results are based on transactional work undertaken between January 2019 and March 2020. This is the 30th edition of the guide.

One of our partners, Kohei Koikawa, has also been included in the IFLR’s Asia Best Lawyers 2020, which recognizes the top legal practitioners across the Asia-Pacific region, based on market data, peer review and client feedback.
