A transaction which Nishimura & Asahi advised on was awarded “Asia Pacific Offshore Wind Deal of the Year” at the IJGlobal Awards 2020, hosted by IJGlobal - Project Finance & Infrastructure Journal and organized by Euromoney Institutional Investor plc, London, UK, held virtually on June 29, 2021.

We have acted as common legal counsels for the financial institutions on the project financing for the construction of an off-shore wind power project in Akita Port and Noshiro Port. This was one of Japan’s most significant deals in recent years and was the first large offshore wind power project in Japan funded by project financing.
