Rakuten, Inc.: Sale of O-net, Inc.
Leading Japanese law firm Nishimura & Asahi advised Rakuten, Inc. (“Rakuten”) [TSE: 4755] on the sale of shares of O-net, Inc. (“O-net”) held by Rakuten to a new company which will be established by Polaris Capital Group., Ltd. (“Polaris”).
O-net has provided matchmaking services for marriage for its members for over 38 years. Polaris is a Japan-based private equity firm engaged in the management of private equity funds, which assists in the restructuring and rebuilding of corporations.
