Yamada Denki Co., Ltd. - Acquisition of Otsuka Kagu, Ltd.
Leading Japanese law firm Nishimura & Asahi advised Yamada Denki Co., Ltd. [TSE: 9831], a Japanese consumer electronics retailer, on its agreement to acquire a 51.74% stake in Otsuka Kagu, Ltd. [TSE: 8186], a Tokyo-based furniture retailer, via a third-party allocation of 30 million newly issued shares.

Tokuhiro Matsunaga has handled a wide variety of cross-border M&A transactions in Asia and other regions.
