Leading Japanese law firm Nishimura & Asahi advised Avex Inc. [TSE: 7860], a Japan-based music company, on the sale of part of stake in LINE MUSIC Corporation by Avex’s consolidated subsidiary Avex Digital Inc. to LINE Corporation, a Japan-based developer and operator of web service businesses.
The Nishimura & Asahi team advising Avex was led by partner Makoto Shimizu.
Makoto is an M&A/corporate partner.
