Hotel Company in Phuket: Advisory on Tax Audit by Thai Revenue Department
SCL Nishimura & Asahi Limited advised a hotel company in Phuket, Thailand. We provided tax assistance to the company regarding a tax audit conducted by the Thai Revenue Department on the corporate income tax to be assessed on the actual profits obtained from the sale of the company's business. As a result, the Thai Revenue Department did not to assess corporate income tax on the company, resulting in a reduction of tax exposure of approximately THB 297 million.
