Mr. Douglas advises Japanese and non-Japanese clients in various corporate and commercial transactions, particularly in connection with cross-border stock and asset purchase deals and joint ventures. He began his career in the corporate practice group of Akerman, LLP in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA and spent 15 years in Japan and Vietnam in a professional capacity. Based in Florida, his work continues to focus on Japanese and Southeast Asian-related transactions.
