Hitomi MATSUDA

Hitomi’s main practice areas include corporate acquisitions, reorganizations, capital and business alliances, joint ventures, and day-to-day commercial business. She also has a considerable experience in supporting both foreign companies expand into Japan and Japanese companies expand into foreign countries, closely collaborating with foreign law firms. Her practice also covers a broad range of corporate matters, including day-to-day commercial transactions, shareholders’ meetings, investor relations, and labor disputes.
Since moving from our Tokyo office to our Osaka office in 2016, Hitomi has been advising both clients located in the Kansai region and those who intend to invest in companies in the region, while still assisting clients from all over Japan and foreign countries. As she advises various types of clients, including both Japanese and international clients, private and public companies, and clients experienced with M&A transactions or other legal matters and those who may be dealing with them for the first time, she always communicates with clients closely to provide flexible, practical, and tailor-made legal services based on their respective concerns, needs, and backgrounds.
