The office opened as the first large Japanese law firm in 2013. In 2019, the office merged with SCL Law Group, a local law firm led by Chavalit Uttasart, a Thai law attorney who has over 40 years of experience in the field of international corporate legal affairs. As a comprehensive Thai law firm, we have established a system to respond to the diversifying legal needs of our Japanese and Thai clients, including not only inbound and outbound transactions between Thailand and Japan, but also multilateral transactions between Thailand and Vietnam and other Asian countries, not limited to Japan.

In collaboration with our Tokyo office and other offices in Japan and overseas, we provide highly specialized, detailed legal services in a wide range of fields, ranging from client expansion and development to withdrawal, to companies considering entering markets in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries and to domestic and overseas clients who may have difficulties after entering the market due to legal and cultural differences.
