Heartseed Inc. - Series D fundraising

Leading Japanese law firm Nishimura & Asahi advised Heartseed Inc., a Tokyo-based biotech company engaged in the research and development of cardiac regenerative medicine, on its JPY 2 billion (approx. USD 14 million) Series D fundraising through third-party allotment to investors including,among others, Japan Co-Invest IV Limited Partnership (GP: Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Investment Co., Ltd.), Arcus South East Asia Sdn. Bhd., Atsushi Sakano (Partner of Aspex Management (HK) Ltd.), Koei Tecmo Capital, and Nikon-SBI Innovation Fund.
