Makoto Shiotani joined the firm.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Makoto Shiotani joined Nishimura & Asahi.

Mr. Shiotani qualified as patent attorney in 1989.
He has extensive experience in the practice of domestic and foreign trademarks and designs, and consulting on trademarks at several patent firms.
Moreover, he was formerly a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association's: Overseas Cooperation Committee; ‎Research and Training Committee; Unfair Competition Committee; and Copyright Committee.
He is also a member of the Japan Trademark Association Foreign Trademark System Committee.
Mr. Shiotani is expected to make a significant contribution to the firm in the intellectual property field using his considerable experience and knowledge.
