Kozo Kawai appointed as a member of Meeting to Discuss Policy Measures Aimed at Regions

Kozo Kawai was appointed as a member of the Meeting to Discuss Policy Measures Aimed at Regions, established under the Council on Investments for the Future, chaired by the Prime Minister of Japan, on October 5, 2018. The Meeting will review the current application of Japan’s Antimonopoly Act with an eye to integration and consolidation, as well as to increasing the productivity of local foundational companies, such as local banks, amidst the increasing difficulties in securing essential services in some of Japan’s regions due to decreasing populations.
