A transaction which Nishimura & Asahi advised on was awarded “Asia Pacific Biomass Deal of the Year” at the IJ Global Awards 2021, hosted by IJGlobal - Project Finance & Infrastructure Journal and organized by Euromoney Institutional Investor plc, London, UK, which were held at the ParkRoyal Collection Hotel in Singapore on July 20, 2022.

We acted as common legal counsel for the borrower, Tahara Biomass Power LLC, on the project financing for the construction of a biomass power plant project Tahara city, Aichi prefecture. This will be one of Japan’s largest biomass power plants.
