Timothy JEFFARES
Tim brings a wealth of global law firm experience to his role as Global Development Director at the firm, having spent many years as a partner and practicing lawyer in a leading UK origin international law firm, including spells in management.
Tim is a member of the firm`s management team, with a particular focus on supporting the internationalization of the firm through the growth of its network of offices outside Japan as well as for the recruitment and career development, once at the firm, of overseas admitted lawyers based in Japan. Prior to joining the firm, Tim had a long career with Clifford Chance LLP, one of the leading UK origin global law firms, as a partner practicing in the finance sector. He was based in a number of his firm`s network of offices, both in Europe and Asia, and as managing partner lead two Asia based offices for over 10 years.
