Lars Markert will be the co-organizer and a speaker in a seminar entitled "The Belt and Road Initiative: What it means for ADR practitioners in Japan", to be held at our Tokyo office on May 31.
The seminar will provide a general introduction to the Belt and Road Initiative and its potential implications for ADR practitioners in Japan. It will explore what steps other jurisdictions are undertaking to benefit from the Initiative and will place a particular emphasis on career opportunities for young Japanese lawyers practicing international arbitration and mediation.
