Atsushi Oshima transfers to Akin Gump

Nishimura & Asahi Attorney Atsushi Oshima was seconded to the law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld (Akin Gump) in the United States as an International Law Advisor since August 2020; however, starting in February 2023, he officially transferred to Akin Gump.

Mr. Oshima will continue to work in the area of international trade law, including economic security issues, at Akin Gump.

Nishimura & Asahi will further strengthen its capabilities, including through cooperation with Mr. Oshima and Akin Gump, in the areas of international trade law and economic security, which have become increasingly important in recent years.
