Notice of the Establishment of a Legal Professional Corporation and the Opening of Osaka and Nagoya Offices

Nishimura & Asahi (N&A) is pleased to announce that it plans to establish Nishimura & Asahi LPC (a legal professional corporation) on August 1, 2012, as a separate entity from N&A, which is a partnership. Its principal office will be located in the same building as the Tokyo office of N&A, with branch offices in Osaka and Nagoya.

The new legal professional corporation and the existing N&A will provide legal services collectively under the name of Nishimura & Asahi.

In order to enhance the legal support we provide Japanese companies doing business in Asia, we have recently (i) opened offices in Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Singapore, (ii) strengthened business ties with leading Asian law firms; and (iii) seconded our lawyers to a wide range of Asian law firms and businesses (including leading law firms in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea and Hong Kong).

With the expansion of our domestic network, namely the opening of our Osaka and Nagoya offices, and our growing network in Asia, N&A is well placed to provide a borderless "One-stop service".
