Katherine Katayama (admitted in New York) joined the firm on December 9, 2014.

We are pleased to announce that Katherine Katayama (admitted in New York) joined our Fukuoka Office as a LPC Foreign Attorney on December 9, 2014.

Ms. Katayama was born in China, and after graduating from Chicago University and Harvard Law School, was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 2000, and worked in the New York and Tokyo offices of US law firms. Thereafter, she worked in the legal department of Japanese companies from 2004 to 2011. Through her experience as a business lawyer both in the United States and Japan, she has obtained abundant experience.
She is fluent in both English and Chinese and is also proficient in Japanese, and will contribute greatly in cross-border transactions.
