Won Yoon joins Nishimura & Asahi
We are pleased to announce that Won Yoon (admitted in Republic of Korea) joined Nishimura & Asahi as Counsel on September 1, 2022.
Prior to joining Nishimura & Asahi, Won Yoon was a partner at a leading law firm in Korea. He has deep experience in advising Japanese and Korean clients on cross-border matters between Japan and Korea, including M&A, commercial transactions, and litigation. He is fluent in Japanese.
We are confident that his extensive experience and perspective will further enrich and support our Korea-related work.
Profile of Won Yoon
Based on hands-on experience at leading law firms in Korea and a deep understanding of both Japanese and Korean cultures and practices, Won Yoon advises clients on cross-border matters between Japan and Korea, including M&A, commercial transactions, and litigation. The main focus of his practice includes advising Korean companies on inbound investments and doing business in Japan, while he has a wealth of experience in advising Japanese companies on legal issues in their Korea-related business.
