Supporting Our Community: Study Session at Saitama Prefectural Urawa Girls' Upper Secondary School

On Feb. 3, 2024, Nishimura & Asahi’s Legal Education Team supported an inquiry-based cross-disciplinary study session for first and second year students at Saitama Prefectural Urawa Girls' Upper Secondary School. Participants from our Tokyo office included of counsel Mariko Mimura, partner Shigeru Sasaki, associates Rasa Kato and Yusuke Mizuno, Asako Joba of the D&I promotion Division (an alumni of the school), and Naomi Mifuka of the Pro Bono Committee.

We hope that the session will help the students enhance their learning and help increase the number of women who aim become legal professionals in Japan.
