IFLR Asian Awards 2011

The Asian Awards 2011, hosted by the IFLR (International Financial Law Review), were held in Hong Kong on March 3, 2011. Nishimura & Asahi won the awards for "M&A Deal of the Year" and "Restructuring Deal of the Year."

Nippon Mining/Nippon Oil

Nishimura & Asahi acted as counsel to Nippon Oil Corporation in a deal which won the M&A Deal of the Year. The deal involved the integration of the management of Nippon Oil Corporation and Nippon Mining Holdings, Inc. through the incorporation of JX Holdings, Inc., a joint holding company, by way of a joint share transfer (kyodo kabushikiiten).

Japan Airlines' Corporate Reorganization
