Nishimura & Asahi, is committed to environmental preservation as an integral part of how we operate as a business and, as a member of our community, undertakes numerous initiatives to identify and reduce the impact of our business and others on the environment.
1. Contribution to sustainable development of society
Recognizing that preserving the global environment is one of the most important issues for mankind, we strive to protect the environment and reduce environmental impact in order to realize a sustainable society.
2. Key Initiatives
We are committed to continually:
- Improving and strengthening our organizational structure to promote environmentally sound practices;
- Promoting environmental conservation and reducing environmental impacts in our operations by eco-office activities and other means;
- Strengthening legal support for addressing sustainability issues from the perspective of clients and other diverse stakeholders;
- Cooperating and collaborating with national and local governments, bar associations, and specialized institutions, as well as participating in environmentally-focused committees and study groups; and
- Disseminating information on environmental issues both inside and outside the firm.
3. Education and Awareness
To enable all members of the firm to actively engage in activities related to environmental conservation and the reduction of environmental impact, we will ensure that all members are fully aware of this environmental policy, and will continue to conduct education and awareness-raising activities.
