Proposed Amendment to the Ministerial Ordinances of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan: A General Introduction (Part I)

The 2020 amendment to the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (the Act itself, the “APPI,” and the amendment, the “2020 Amendment”) is expected to enter into force by June 12, 2022.
