In-House Congress

Siam City Law Offices Limited (SCL Law Group) participated in the fifteenth annual In-House Congress, which is part of the highly successful In-House Community Congress series, hosted by Pacific Business Press.

In-House Congress Bangkok 2017 brought together leading in-house lawyers, CEOs, company directors and compliance professionals from both the private and public sectors in Bangkok. Delegates participated in workshops featuring prominent business leaders and lawyers in the industry.

During this event, our Managing Partner, Khun Chavalit Uttasart, was invited as one of the panelists in a panel discussion entitled “The Path to Excellence”. This discussion revolved around the topic of how law firms can assist in-house teams in their evolution.

In the afternoon, our Senior Partner, Khun Vira Kammee, was a lead presenter on the subject “Fraud – Prevention and Detection”. This was a very interesting subject which drew a lot of interest from the audience.

The participants at this event were predominantly in-house lawyers from various industries in Thailand, e.g. – Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, Johnson & Johnson – Thailand, Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Co., Ltd., Schlumberger and Thai AirAsia Co., Ltd., just to name a few.  Many of these companies are international companies with representative offices in Thailand.

We had a booth setup in the hospitality area of the event hall, where we distributed brochures and materials relating to our various practice areas.
