Joseph Tay Joins Bayfront Law LLC as Director
We welcome Joseph Tay to Bayfront Law LLC (Nishimura & Asahi Singapore Office’s counterpart in the Nishimura & Asahi - Bayfront Law Alliance) as a Director.
He brings over 17 years of experience and a remarkable track record of representing clients in Singapore court and Singapore-law related arbitration proceedings. Joseph also has extensive experience in restructuring and insolvency matters in Singapore, as well as advising corporations on corruption, fraud, and compliance investigations.
Joseph was previously a Partner of Shook Lin & Bok LLP, a renowned firm in Singapore, and, as external counsel, had worked very successfully with our firm in the past.

Joseph has a strong track record as a Singapore litigation and arbitration counsel, and is distinguished for his ability to secure successfully outcomes in unprecedented or complex cases, many of which have been publicly reported and commentated upon. Joseph's broad experience includes M&A and JV disputes, shareholder and director disputes, trade and commercial disputes, corporate real estate disputes, restructuring and insolvency proceedings, freezing order injunctions, infrastructure and construction disputes, financial conspiracy disputes, and banking and securities matters. Joseph serves as an arbitrator on the panels of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. Joseph also serves as a Neutral Evaluator on the panel of the Singapore Law Society Neutral Evaluation and Determination Scheme.
