Family Day Event

In July 2025, Nishimura & Asahi (Gaikokuho Kyodo Jigyo) held a Family Day event at its Tokyo Office as part of its DE&I promotion efforts to create an environment that enables all of its diverse members to thrive.

Following N&A’s first Family Day event held at its Tokyo Office in 2016 to mark its move to Otemon Tower, which was well-received, N&A is now planning multiple Family Day events for each practice group and floor to allow for closer communication in response to the firm’s larger scale. N&A held two Family Day events in July 2025, welcoming approximately 200 individuals including N&A members and their Families*.

After hearing an introduction to the firm, participants embarked on an office tour that included an “Oshikatsu” fan decoration station, where participants decorated N&A-logo fans with messages and drawings for their families, and a photo booth for a commemorative photo, allowing participants to learn about the firm as they went along.

At the reception, participants enjoyed light food and refreshments while hearing from family members and their children about their impressions from the event during the interview corner.

In addition to giving family members a chance to learn about the place where their family members work and the people they work with, the event was an opportunity for N&A members to express their gratitude to their family for their support on a daily basis.

N&A will continue its efforts to bring initiatives that allow each of its diverse members to build a sustainable work-life balance and thrive in the workplace.
