Chié Nakahara Named to ALB Asia Top 30 Litigators 2025
Nishimura & Asahi is pleased to announce that Tokyo partner Chié Nakahara has been recognized as one of three Japan-based lawyers by Asian Legal Business’s ALB Asia Top 30 Litigators 2025 in its June 2025 issue, published by Thomson Reuters.
Chié specializes in international litigation and arbitration as well as domestic litigation. The disputes she typically handles relate to M&A, distributorship, licensing, franchising, and the termination of such continuous contracts, construction, product liability, corporate governance, intellectual property, finance and other commercial matters.
Chié has acted in numerous complex and high-profile litigations and arbitrations as counsel. She also serves as an arbitrator, having been enlisted in the panel of arbitrators at Korean Commercial Arbitration Board International, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, as well as a registered arbitrator at the Daiichi Tokyo Bar Arbitration Center. Further, she contributes to the development of international dispute resolution through her various roles, such as an officer (co-chair of the Asia Pacific Arbitration Group) of the Arbitration Committee, International Bar Association (IBA) and Court Member of the International Court of Arbitration, International Chamber of Commerce.
