The Federal Republic of Germany (hereinafter referred to as ""Germany"") has an important presence as one of major European countries.
For the purpose of dealing with various problems related to Germany and legal issues arising in that country, Nishimura & Asahi with our offices in Germany and our people having qualifications under German law or work experience in there constantly follows up on regulatory trends in Germany, and thereby provides legal services as solutions for legal issues that arise and affect Japanese companies in the region in cooperation with local law firms as needed.
We have been providing legal advice on various issues related to Germany including, for example, the acquisition of German companies, the review of corporate mergers, data protection regulations, establishment of a bribery prevention system and other compliance systems, and crisis management including cartel investigation.
