We provide legal advice and support on media and broadcasting-related matters involving issues related to copyright, publicity rights, and privacy rights, among others. We have extensive experience in corporate transactions related to media relations and media content (including both TV and radio broadcasting), Internet content, and publishing.
With respect to the entertainment industry, our attorneys are well versed in the existing business practices. Our approach takes into consideration the complex business relationships unique to the entertainment industry. We also address new issues arising from recent technological innovations, while looking ahead toward future legal developments.
We have also recently been providing counsel on esports and other gaming-related matters, including integrated resorts (casinos). Notably, Tomohiro Takagi is the only Japanese attorney ranked in the Gaming & Gambling category of Chambers Global 2022 and Chambers Asia-Pacific 2022.
