Use of the B-Corp Certification System in Sustainability Management

The "New Capitalism Grand Design and Action Plan" (June 2022), announced in relation to the Kishida administration’s "New Capitalism" vision, includes the topic of "consideration of new form of corporate structure that plays a public role in the private sector and reforming existing corporate structures". Since the plan’s release, discussions on corporate structures that adopt the Japanese stakeholder model have come to attract attention.
