    Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.’s Investment in CapitaLand’s business park in Chennai, India

Leading Japanese law firm Nishimura & Asahi advised Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. [TSE: 8802] on its investment in International Tech Park Chennai, Radial Road, a business park development initiated by CapitaLand Investment Ltd., an investment management company of the CapitaLand Group, a major real estate group in Singapore.

藤本 欣伸

Yoshinobu was promoted to partner in 1999. He has experience in NP loans, real estate transactions, and equity investment cases dealing with foreign capital funds and companies. In addition to domestic M&A and business integration cases, he has recently been engaged in many M&A and JV cases by Japanese corporations in the USA, Europe, and Asian countries. He has advised Japanese corporations on lawsuits in the USA and other overseas countries, and has extensive experience in the dispute settlement and risk management fields. He has won many awards in the Corporate/M&A, Private Wealth and Healthcare fields from business law reviews, such as Chambers Global and The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific.

中川 裕介

Yusuke’s practice focuses on Corporate and M&A, including cross-border/domestic acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, investment in startup companies, and numerous other kinds of transactions and commercial arrangements, including strategic alliance transactions between Japanese companies and foreign companies. He also regularly provides domestic and foreign clients with regulatory, labor, intellectual property and other general corporate advice.

鈴木 多恵子

Taeko heads the firm’s India practice, and advises Japanese corporations investing and doing business in India, with a special focus on dispute resolution (litigation and arbitration), and regulatory work (criminal and competition related matters). She also handles jurisdictions such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, the UAE, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, and other countries in South Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

吉本 智郎

Based in Singapore since April 2014, Tomoro's areas of expertise include general corporate matters and M&A, disputes, labor and crisis management cases in Singapore, Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries. He strives to deepen his knowledge and understanding of the distinct language/culture/regulations/commercial practices, and believes that communication is the key in any project. He regularly speaks in compliance seminars for the branch offices and the subsidiaries of his clients.
